The Briar Court Hotel

The bedroom itself was lovely. The bed and pillows were nice and firm and I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had everything we wanted. The location was great for us to visit family. We would definitely stay again as it was value for money.

Unfortunately the bathroom let the room down. There was mould growing in the seals around the shower, the whole bathroom smelt of damp. Other areas such as the toilet and sink were very clean. The shower just really needs a good deep clean.

Very handy location just a few minutes from the motorway. Excellent breakfast.

they are very dog friendly, made us feel welcome. Its an extra £15 for my dog but that's fine

we had room 219 and that's above the kitchen for the deliveries. What we didn't know was deliveries are at 6:45 and take 1/2 hour of metal rattling on metal and reversing beeps of the wagon etc... my dog was ok with it and didn't back but none the less the wife and I were tired and didn't account for this in our stay. I would also expect that any other smaller insecure dog would have barked during the whole delivery time waking other paying customers. Some forethought needs to go in this when allocating rooms and knowing about an early delivery, so this can be avoided in the future.
