Convenient for where I needed to go. Staff were friendly and accommodated my very late checkin.
The booking.com hotel description said there 'may' be a surcharge for pets, but there was no confirmation as to whether and how much until I was asked to hand over an extra £20 before going to my room. Would have preferred more transparency here as they have you over a barrel by that point.
The room was good enough to lay my head for the night, but there was a noticable damp patch on the wall above the wardrobe in room 3 where the wallpaper was coming away.. it seemed to extend into the bathroom with discolouring on the sealent near the ceiling - significant roof leak most likely. I saw no mould but something needs attending to there or itll get worse and you wouldnt want to be breathing in mould overnight.
