The refurbished rooms were good and modern, staff all very helpul.

The evening meal was slightly disappointing compared to last time we stayed. There seemed to be a lot of chilli in a lot of the dishes and my wife's crispy duck was not crispy at all. on the plus side breakfasts were very good

Staff were naturally friendly and breakfast was excellent. The bed was really comfortable, the room was quiet which meant a good night's sleep.

We paid for a Superior Double, and got a lovely big bed, but the rest of the room was far from Superior. There was no bin in the bathroom, meaning that ladies' sanitary products had to be placed in the bin in the main room. There was a sofa in the room which was ridiculously low, and out of sight of the TV. The view from the sofa looked out onto a small neglected courtyard. Wallpaper was hanging off the wall, and carpets could have done with a good clean. There wasn't a window that could be left open at night for some fresh air, however the gap around the badly fitting door probably sufficed, although this did give concern about its validity as a suitable fire door. Over £207 (after Booking.Com discount) for the night was overpriced for the standard of the room.

Well located and helpful staff.

A little pub nose, but it ended by 11:30.

Location and cleanliness as well as huge in house parking lots for guests

The hotel does not have sufficient staff as a result customers’ issues remain unresolved or attended late. The hotel has quite a good number of rooms but one can count the staff in fingers.
