Everything wonderful and on top, the so nice smile and sincerely attentionated welcoming.
Maybe a bit expensive, compared to the "continent" but we are in Br(exit)itain...

The overall experience & stay was absolutely superb and the staff were exceptional. The room was just right for what we needed, the grounds are beautiful for morning walks and the staff were all friendly, helpful and Oli the grounds keeper/gardener was extremely wonderful with my 3 year old son & feeding the fish was fun for him. Sam was great and the rest of the staff all helpful and made this experience easier. The room cleaning staff were friendly and professional
The only one thing I would have to say is the room could be cleaner especially under the tv unit cupboard and bed. The fire place could do with a clean and there was a smell coming from it.

Location, staff
Booking.com didn’t let them know I had booked a dog friendly room but they kindly accommodated me. However the room I was in has a very noisy boiler underneath so not very peaceful

The property and scenery were beautiful.
The room wasn’t available at the indicated tine of 4:15. We were asked to sit and wait in the lounge till 4:35. No apology. No offer of refreshments. The reason for the delay? “We’re busy”.
There was a discarded sandwich in the bathroom bin. Made us wonder how much effort went into cleaning the room.
The evening meal (sea bass) was cold. The waiter just walked off when we told him.
We provided this feedback to the hotel. No response at all.
