Excellent location, great intro to our first onsen, staff couldn’t be more helpful. FANTASTIC buffet breakfast - absolutely all tastes and diets catered for.

Impressive lobby, great spa and sauna. The breakfast selection was quite good and the quality was pretty high.

The room was a bit old. The bathroom sink was uncomfortable. The bathtub was a bit dirty when we arrived so I didn't want to get into it (luckily the spa and public bath facilities were amazing). The provided lounge wear was made from unpleasant synthetic material. The bed area didn't have enough power outlets for both people to use.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, with a bus stop directly in front of the entrance and a convenience store right next door.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was very disappointing, especially for a five-star hotel. Upon arrival, we found hairs left by previous guests, a false eyelash, and visible stains on the carpet around the sink and waste bin. After we mentioned this at reception, the area was vacuumed while we were out for dinner, but the stains remained. We also noticed a strong, unpleasant moldy smell in the bathroom after draining the bathtub, which lasted for over an hour. Having stayed in several three-star hotels in Japan that were absolutely spotless, we expected a much higher standard from a five-star property. The location was excellent, but unfortunately the cleanliness did not meet our expectations. I’m writing this so that no one else has such disappointing experience.
