A beautiful spot and a very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff and a very good breakfast.

I had to get help working the television, but that was fine. It isn't much, but it was a shame the bathplug didn't fit better!

The room was ideal for a family with a dog, double bedroom and separate twin room with one bathroom for £210 on a Saturday night. The room was like a motel room off the car park and was a very practical.

The food wasn’t great and the service was disorganised. The menu was a little odd, was hard to find something any of us fancied it was a strange mix of options - there was no chicken breast or steak and ale pie left by 730 when we were ordering. The chicken burger was not nice - the chicken was in a tempura batter and then in a bread bun so was very greasy. The chips were ok. Steak was cooked very well as was the duck, fish pie was ok. Breakfast was poor - poached eggs with the full breakfast rubbery with overcooked yolk to the point of inedible, continental table had very little choice. Service was good at breakfast.
