Perfect for location close to Caen port.

Restaurant closed Sunday, when most restaurants and shops in Falaise closed.

Of the 5 or 6 places - hotels, B&B's - that we stayed in during our week + in Normandy this was by far the best. So good, in fact, that we stayed a further night. Why so good ? Well, immediately, the staff. Friendly, helpful, nothing any trouble - actually HAPPY to see guests ( France, take note.) The hotel is being updated and the rooms are spacious ( there's a novelty ), clean, comfortable and stuff works. But, even when all the facilities are on point, you still need staff that make the guests feel comfortable and appreciated. That's the vibe you get here. Can't recall all their names but Sophie and Dylan were typical of all the staff in their friendlines and willingness to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Merci beaucoup !

Well, the breakfast is no worse nor no better than most places in France but, considering how many Brits and Yanks come to Normandy, maybe an expansion of the cooked breakfast range would be worth considering. Not quite the Full English but maybe a demi-anglais ( fried eggs, bacon and sausage not immersed in Castrol GTX ) would see us lot queuing round the carpark !

High speed EV chargers were very convenient and the hotel is a great stop to/from Caen ferry terminal. The restaurant food was great and connecting rooms worked very well for our family. The hotel was also accommodating and organised a travel cot for our child.

There was a mix up on check out - we were not charged the correct amount and have since received emails telling us we ‘[did] not follow their policies while [we] stayed at their property’. We are very happy to settle the correct amount but communication hasn’t been great considering the mistake was made by the hotel not by us - we provided our two room keys and were only charged for one room.

Very convenient location. The staff tried to be helful.

It's an Ibis - have reasonable to low expectations. Room was very hot - no fans offered. Check-in took ages - they have ew software !!
