Hanoi Pearl Hotel

Fantastic location! You are steps away from everything, and the street features a great variety of excellent restaurants. The area has a wonderful, lively atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’m personally not a fan of bathtubs, I tend to find them a little bit of a slip/step hazard.

The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond. Comfy beds, clean and great location. We were very impressed with our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Location is right in the heart of everything, so near the Old Quarter and French Quarter and only a block away from the Hoan Kiem Lake. It made it easy for me to go to the walking tours I booked. Breakfast was nice too. Not fancy, but decently stocked. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The facilities are a bit dated in my view, but it's a minor gripe since everything is clean anyway. Some of the electric sockets didn't work.

The quality of the hotel overall and also the excellent and attentive staff. Special mention for the wonderful Harrvey who always made sure the more mature aged of us got up and down the slippery front stairs safely when it was raining. And always with a smile. The location is perfect in a quieter sideroad of the old quarter within an easy stroll of good/affordable eateries, historic sites and interesting alleyways. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and well appointed with everything you might need. Breakfast was plentiful and diverse to suit a wide range of tastes and needs. We are looking forward to staying there again. There is a really good but underutilised roof top bar that could be better promoted.

The Old Quarter has limited space, so it's understandable that not every window can have a view. The Hanoi Pearl has light rooms facing the road and rooms with windows facing a wall. Absolutely fine if you want all the positives the Hanoi Pearl has to offer and don't mind the lack of natural light. Be aware though that there is a Pearl Hotel (a fine hotel too) in a very different part of town. Don't get them mixed up like we did.
