The breakfast was adequate. Typical English breakfast with toast and the usual cornflakes. Not a lot of choice.
The Hotel needs a lift. We had a case each to carry upstairs and these do get heavy. It also limits the type of guest you are attracting.

food great staff very good and helpful. Located within easy reach of amenities and attractions
had a small issue with the room as the view was blocked by a tall tree - the hosts made a gesture of goodwill for that and i was satisfied

The staff were very busy with pub customers when we arrived but nevertheless made an effort to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was good and service friendly.
room was a bit scruffy, There was a lot of noise from pub crowd downstairs and outside in the street. The soap dispensers were poorly designed and had very little soap in them.
