Holiday Inn Frankfurt Airport by IHG

The location was excellent for morning flight from Frankfurt. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable.

The dining room had only a buffet for dinner which we didn’t find pleasing, hence we didn’t eat, initially we were to pay $34 euro for parking however the staff waived the fee when we checked out which was appreciated

RESTAURANT - After trying to call restaurant from my room, no one picked up the phone. I went down to order from Beefsteak Menu which lied in room. Two Staff were at counter, one did something at computer, one waiting for a guest do payment. I waited there for 05 minutes. I think they have enough time to say hi to me or "please just a moment" but they ignored me. I looked around restaurant and catched the eyes of Chef Cook and restaurant manager. Chef cook said something with manager then manager went to me, grabbed menu on my hand and asked "What do you want". I am shocked and said "I want.......to order". He showed me here is the buffet. I said i want to order Beafsteak. He did not care the menu whick took from me, put at corner and said "We do not have Beafsteak". I said sorry and went back to my room. I said to myself as they dont have why they left the Beafsteak menu fly in a room. I will never back to that restaurant. Restaurant Manager/Leader and/or Chef Cook should be changed. HOTEL - Staff chating each other in a room behind reception. I said "Hallo" 02 times. I tried myself to do check in to get the room key without help. When I found out how to do it and finished, they stept out say hi and asked for help....When I need room services, called from my room to reception, front desk, room services, restaurant...no one picked up the phone or even one of them press the button to hang up. So why i have to pay more for a hotel but i must do all by self like i stay in apartment. Smartments and ipartment are much more better with the price and their kitchen facilities. Staff should be reduced.

Great location easy access from Frankfurt airport by train one stop. Very quiet.

The bed and pillows were slightly hard for me.

Cleanliness. Spacious room. Nearby airport.

Expensive breakfast, and did not have any la carte menu. Average quality of food. Did not have any interesting shops for browsing or shopping. A business park for corporate.
