Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda - Tokyo

Hot spring facilities in the 16th floor were very nice and if you're thinking of getting combini food there's also a spot where you can use vending machines and microwaves. Was overall very happy with the location not too far from shinagawa if you're planning to catch the Narita Express back to the airport.

As usual in Japan rooms were not very spacious but they were sufficient. I thought it was odd that the hotel reception was on the 15th floor. But no major complaints.

Location was perfect along Yamanote Line. Convenient location with a Lawson store at the Hotel and a supermarket that is only 3 minutes walk.

The room was dusty and carpet was not vacuumed until we requested it. The dustbin in the washroom was not cleared on the second day. It showed the carelessness of cleaning staff. The laundry facility was helpful but only 2 machines for the whole hotel makes it almost impossible to use them. What makes it hard is that many guests use the 2 hour wash and dry for 2 hours. In other hotels, it makes better sense to have machines that washes and dry. Keep the washing to 35 mins and drying to 1 hour. I have also seen that some guests use both machines for wash/dry for 2 hours! The hotel has to put in more thoughts to managing this facility.
