The gentleman who checked us in was super nice. Location is amazing and the breakfast is great!
Parking is a little far and is paid. But they hotel staff parked our car.

The location was very convenient to explore Salzburg on foot. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, particularly at breakfast which was excellent with all items replaced immediately when required.
We only stayed one night, so did not have time to use the gym and pool, but it all looked very clean and well maintained.
We had chosen our particular room because it had air conditioning, but that was rather noisy, so we opened the windows instead. Although the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, there is a lot of traffic outside, and it was very noisy early in the morning. Probably not a problem in colder months.

The room was fine. Steam room and Sauna excellent. Location was perfect and central to train station, Alstadt, shopping and restaurants. Tours very close (10 min walk)
Room was quite warm. Seemed as though garbage trucks started outside the window at 4 AM. Wanted to do river tour but was told river is so low that you don't get full picture.

Location is quite central and near to the attractions and shopping and food.
There are 2 family rooms that cost the same but only one is similar to the photos with the sun roof and nice rub. Unfortunately we were assigned the one without and no mention by the staff and the only reason given was that too bad it has been taken. So book this room type at your own risk. Hotel/Staff should have been more honest and upfront, or charge differently for the 2 very different family rooms.
