The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The food was very tasty in the restaurant.

all the historic and cultural decorations throughout the grounds; the interesting hidden corners and places to sit; hot water and good pressure in shower; liquid body soap and shampoo provided in refillable containers; A/C works very well; balcony has table and chairs - we can hear water fountain; 2 bottles of water provided in room; fresh filtered water in lobby; easy to get local Tuk Tuk driver near hotel; bed has 2 pillows each; local paintings in room; dinner:7-10:30 - enjoyed tasting local dishes, wait staff were able to answer questions and explained what foods were and how to eat them; breakfast: 7-10 - many local choices, both sweet and savory - fresh to order omelettes and dosa; rooftop restaurant with open walls - saw a couple of monkeys in the morning; all food was fresh and delicious; the local music and dancing performance at dinner was interesting and had positive energy

wifi was very inconsistent and frustrating; no local block printed fabric used in room; voices from other guests and doors closing easily heard in rooms; loud A/C unit near our balcony - difficult to hear the birds and water sounds; coffee table on balcony is too large for space

The roof top restaurant was a good with range of food and nice to sit out .

Overall a nice hotel. Restaurant was nice and the Rajasthani musicians and dancers were fabulous!

The staff were a little odd, especially at the front desk. I asked if I could get a package delivered and they said yes but that they could only hold it for 24 hours. What are you gonna do after 24 hours? Take it for yourself? Never heard of that from any other hotel and I’ve travelled to 30+ countries. My hotel in Delhi held a package for me with no issues. We also booked a driver for an evening through the hotel (Mr Singh), who ended up being a nightmare. He kept trying to convince us to buy jewellery and gemstones even though we said many times that we were not interested. When we told him we were interested in visiting a Hindu guru for fortune telling, he said he knew a place that was government approved, and free of charge. We felt it was too good to be true but agreed anyways, and he took us to a jeweller 🙄 We walked straight back out (because it was clearly going to be a sales pitch) and he was so cold and rude to us for the rest of the day, literally refusing to take us where we asked. I wanted to go to a very well known, 5 star hotel for lunch, but he said he couldn’t take us because there was nowhere to park. Nowhere to park at a 5 star hotel? He insisted we went to a different restaurant which I’m sure he got commission from for taking us there. A dishonest scumbag of a man. Later, we confronted him about the jewellers and he didn’t even apologise once. He just sat there smiling. A lot of people will lie to your face in India, but we didn’t expect this from a reputable hotel. This driver was provided by the hotel so I feel I have to mention it.
