Nice location. Walkable to much of the Altstadt and key sightseeing areas.
Outdated decor and furnishings, though comfortable. Somewhat odd set-up with getting key from the downstairs restaurant, etc.

We liked the location and while the hotel is older it is well maintained and very convenient. There are some excellent cafes and restaurants very close by and there are several supermarkets nearby. The metro is a 3 minute walk away.
Sadly it was very hot the week we stayed in Munich and the room had no A/C. They provided a fan (thank you) and we opened windows but the nights were still "warm".

The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. They were always ready to help with a smile.
Those travelers who need darkness for sleeping should bring an eye mask, especially in high summer where the days a very long in this part of the world.
The price for value was a bit steep in my opinion but then you are in Munich, one of the pricier cities in DE.
