Room we had was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
No fault of the hotel but as an elderly couple the situation of the hotel for us was challenging. The Alfama area is very nice but very hilly and found the cobbled paths difficult to walk especially being so busy!

The location was perfect for our first visit to the Alfama. Diego was an exceptional host, and Daniel went above and beyond to assist with a bag left in an Uber. We will stay here again on our return visits the hotel was Air Con, and offered excellent breakfast.
The room had an odd aroma.

Great location. Nice bar and terrace. The room was big. Effective air conditioning.
Noises from next room came in extremely loud when shower or toilet was used in the adjacent room. We woke up in the middle of the night as the shower pipe sounded like an airplane. Not possible to have air conditioning on at night because the vemt is directly above the bed and blows freezing cold into your head. WiFi worked only occasionally.
