Great location with on site parking. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The food and drink in the restaurant and bar were very good. Friendly engaging staff.

The staff were so helpful and caring towards the people staying at the hotel! It was decorated so well for Halloween and autumn which made it so cosy.

We had some issue with our drains and the shower and toilet kept getting blocked. It was leaving a strong smell of egg due to drainage issues. We did tell reception of this when leaving and they were apologetic and explained they will get it sorted. Apart from that, such a lovely stay.

Located on High Street so having free parking at rear was a bonus

Room overlooked High Street and was quite noisy. Broken window patched with plywood board. Shower cubicle very small and controls not easy to use to get temperature right before stepping in. 4’6” bed smaller than used to. Breakfast could have benefitted from a selection of juices, fresh fruits and muslie. Not a great fan of cooked breakfasts every day.
