Room was very comfortable with fantastic views, and the ensuite had clearly been recently refurbished so was in great condition

Within walking distance to the centre of Rothesay. The evening meal and breakfast was good. The staff were helpful.
A touch of faded grandeur and I felt that a good interior designer or architect would have given it a bit of sparkle.
It must take a lot of money to fully upgrade a hotel of this size and externally and internally maintenance is required.
The mismatch of carpets from stairs to hallways and wall plaster damaged by linen trolleys just disappointed. Appreciate that it's all about cash to do this sort of work.

Loved everything. Staff were a delight, service was perfect . The room(103) was beautiful, with the best possible view of the sea.
All facilities good, bathroom immaculate, bed exceptional quality . And breakfast, well perfect.
Dinner was good too, but I should have had the venison!!!!!

Great location and views, bathroom large with great shower. Reception helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent.
No heating in the room, radiators unable to be turned on manually. Towel heater in bathroom also unable to be turned on. Some cleaning aspects of room could be improved
