Ren I Tang hugely exceeded our expectations. The building has so much character, and history, that the manager was very knowledgeable about sharing with us. Every detail was so stylish, and also practical, it was great. We stayed there for three nights during a 2 week trip around Malaysia & Borneo, and I would say the breakfasts there were among the best (if not the very best) food we had. In a very cool and relaxed setting! All the staff were also lovely. Can’t fault it, and would highly recommend.

Fab location, great history of the property The staff really can’t do enough for you.
Please do respect the no shoe policy though as it really helps keep the authenticity of the hotel.

This place is basically step back in time yet with the modern facilities attached. What a great boutique hotel plus historical museum in one spot!
The hospitality of Ting, the boys, and everyone in the hotel, they just make you feel so comfortable and easy to settle in. The greetings you received each time when you get back from your wandering x, feels like coming home.
And the amazing breakfast! I would be happy to have it everyday for the rest of my life!
