In a good location and next to a large car park. The upgraded room was a good size, spotless and well equipped.
The welcome receptionist was really lovely and made us feel welcome. The general ambience was of a high standard and initial impressions were excellent. Our room was ready early which was a lovely bonus.
The service in the Brasserie was very slow over lunch despite just 2 tables in use. After nearly 15 minutes we gave up waiting for our used plates to be cleared and had a dessert down the road. The TV in the room was not accessible as the remote control batteries had rotted inside the controller. The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose and rattled.

Lovely warm welcome especially with the fire pit in entrance. Room was very comfortable, one slight issue, the lighting was very dim in bathroom for ladies who want to do makeup and hair etc.

Staff were polite and helpful.
The rooms were tired , paint , wallpaper, woodwork chipped . The tea and coffee making facilities very basic for the star rating of hotel and the price we paid. I have stayed all over the world in many hotels , very poor .
