Downstairs dining and bar are very good and food is very good. They were very busy with diners even mid week. I had a very good dinner and breakfast. Room was as expected for the price, clean and nice view over farmland. The outside is very well taken care of and there were hanging baskets of flowers etc. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The hallway leading to the bedrooms has a very dirty carpet which gave a bad initial impression and needed cleaning or replacing. I found the mattress uncomfortable and old, and in my opinion a new mattress was needed.

Location was great. Evening meal was amazing, best curry ever!
The room was cold. Decor and furniture was tired. Blind missing several slats, big crack in sink and grubby arm chair and threadbare settee. Staff welcome poor.

The accessible accommodation was clean and comfortable but a few more furnishing finishes like the other rooms would have made it 100%.
