Everything! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities rooms food and amenities were great.

The price. Its a little too expensive per night for what we got. People with tattoos really do struggle for hotels with onsens in Japan

Enjoyed Japanese breakfast every morning but a slight choice would have been preferred. Unable to book the restaurant without 24hrs notice (problematic on the first night).

Excellent hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality. The staff was always incredibly attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. The room was amazing—very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a traditional Japanese touch. The location is also perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the main attractions of Kyoto’s historic district, yet tucked away on an incredibly quiet and peaceful street. Breakfast was another highlight, as were the beautiful common areas and room terrace, where we enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto. Highly recommended!
