Hotel Europejski

Beatufiul historical hotel with its own soul. They pay attention to details so everything from the hotel lobby to your room fits the narrative of an early 20th century place. For the best price in this location, much lower than nearby budget chains, we got a huge room twice the size, with multiple tables, big seating area with a sofa, chairs and armchairs. Despite booking a room with one double bed there were two double beds, so we both ended up having a big (and a very soft and comfortable) bed on our own. Not to mention we also got one of the only two balconies. We also apprecciated the amount of storage places and tables all around the room. And every room of the hotel seemed to be different, with a different vibe and decorations, made us want to try more room XD. The whole place is just as far from those minimalist chain hotels as it gets. To top it off, the receptionists were very nice, breakfast was intimate and offered a lot of surprising options we were never offered anywhere else, like cold meat cuts and various salads, mushrooms, fishes or fruit jelly. And the backyard full of flowers and fountains is absolutely magical, shame it was so cold during our visit and also that they didn't serve any drinks aside from breakfast. Would love to order some hot coffee and take it there. Also the location is great, very close to the city center (you can walk there) and right next to a big shopping mall, which also includes an international bus and train station, where most transfers stop at, including the airport train. We enjoyed staying here and if we visit Krakow in the future, we will book a room here again.

Overal we were very pleased, so just a few details to mention - someone elses hair on the shower gel when we arrived. Some small coffee machine on the breakfast table would make breakfasts even better - you can still have simple dark coffee or coffee with milk though, just not an esspresso or latte. We stayed in a room with a street view so there was some noise from the street and when a tram appeared the room kind of vibrated. We come from a city even bigger than Krakow so it didn't bother us that much, as we are used to street noise, but if you know you need a quiet room, I suggest asking for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Location was very good. Close to the city centre and main railway station. The hotel and the room were very traditional in decor but had everything we needed. The room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. It had a seating area as well as a comfortable bed, so we could relax between sightseeing trips around the city. Breakfast was good.

Location was great, also little interaction with staff was OK fine.

I asked for, room with courtyard room with bath and bottle of wine in the room as it was a special occasion for me and my wife. We were given a room with street view, shower and no wine was present. Message was clearly not read or ignored.
