L’hôtel juste en face de l’entrée de l’aéroport Chambre triple spacieuse, salle de bain immense Literie assez bonne Propre Restaurant en bas de l’hôtel bon et portions très généreuses

Pas d’ascenseur, pour un hôtel d’aéroport donc clientèle avec des valises ce n’est pas l’idéal, heureusement que la chambre était au 1er étage

Good location to get to the airport ( although the fencing blocks you, meaning you have to walk for about 10 minutes). The staff was helpful; the room was small but clean and comfortable -great to sleep for 1 night on the way to the airport. There is a bus into Tirana center hourly from 10 minutes' walk away.

Not much in the way of food facilities on site or nearby but we ate lunch in the airport lobby which was fine.

This hotel is in a great location and has an car hire place, so if you are picking up or dropping off before or after flying it is a great position. The rooms in the new part are stylized modern and comfortable. Breakfast was not included which I think would have made up for the short falls. You get a free coffee and water . However the restaurant does some great simple and mostly traditional food for breakfast which considering this is an airport hotel is very well priced with locals and airport choosing Jurgen. The family who run it are extremely friendly to the point I feel guilty for any criticisms. They are genuinely helpful people like most Albanians but with more smiles.

There are a few teething issues in the new part. Some lighting controls did not work, The toilet / shower room is great but there are not enough places for clothes, the shower splashes a long way and the towels are high up. Then little presentation things like plastic wrapping still on door handles ..the lift not working ( but the reception guy helped ). I think that this is a family business expanding and they will make all the corrections now we are moving into a quieter period. For these reasons I felt the price paid was a little too high but I would not discourage others from trying Jurgen, The quality of the room was as good as another modern hotel on that strip whose pricing is higher ( but with breakfast ). I would book again after checking the offer of the others along the airport strip
