Kismet Cave House

Very good recommendation with all our activities - hot air ballon, dining, hiking, horseback riding, pottery, Mosaik lamp making, home cooked meal at the hotel one evening. Traveling as a woman with two teenage girls I felt very safe and well cared for for. Rental car was also great. We also enjoyed staying in one of the cave rooms. Loved it!

Super Location, wirklich ganz tolles Viertel! Extrem nettes Personal - sehr familiär. Tip top sauber, sehr bequemes Bett, toller Service (Flughafen pick-up und Taxis jederzeit), wahnsinnig gutes Frühstück, sehr schön eingerichtet. Hotel hat wahnsinnig authentischen Charme! Alles wirklich top top top!!! Wir kommen sehr sehr sicher wieder!! Tausend Dank an Faruk und Shirin ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent serviced accommodation in the heart of Goreme! If staying at Kismet Cave House, you have full access to Kismet Cave Mansion, which is right across the street. The mansion is where the breakfast is served and the gorgeous outdoor viewing deck is located. Our host, Yusuf, welcomed us warmly with a cup of tea and kindly answered all of our questions about the area. The entire staff were very hospitable. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety, including made-to- order eggs. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous with a spectacular view of Rose Valley. We highly recommended staying here!

We loved everything!!!

We booked the hotel months in advanced for one evening and asked the hotel to help reserve an air balloon trip for us to which they said they were glad to help. The initial price they quoted was $180 for each person. They told us they had reserved spaces on the balloon and we would pay when we arrive. When we got there, they told us that the air balloons were completely full. Feeling panicked, we asked if there were other options. First, the gentleman running the hotel told us that he knew of a couple that might not pay the fee in time, and that we would find out by 4pm if they dropped out. Then he changed his story and said that he had a friend from the hotel across the street who had air balloon spots for €250. We had to take it as we had very limited time there, and couldn’t run around the town finding another air balloon. In hind sight, we felt he took advantage of our situation. The day we were to go on the balloon, we were initially declined as he put us under another family’s name. The whole ordeal made us feel stressed, uneasy, and cheated. They should be ashamed of themselves. Please, stay away from this hotel.
