Lovely location and can do plenty of walking from hotel, such as Place Fell, Helvellyn and Sheffield pike. Glenridding is a quick walk down the road. Great to leave car parked over the two days.
Good breakfasts and plenty of choice
Evening meals either in bar or restaurant and food good.Staff helpful and efficient.
Rooms comfortable and can ask for extra tea and coffee at reception.
Double beds feel small.
Sleeping at back of hotel and some noise very early morning and late evening if you sleep with window open.

The location was excellent, and the staff were outstanding—very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast and dinner were basic but acceptable. Unfortunately, the main downside was that the food was often cold.
The communal areas of the building were fine, but the rooms were quite outdated but clean. In our room, the window was broken and could not be opened. Overall, the excellent staff made a positive impression and helped make our stay more pleasant.
The breakfast and dinner were served cold. The room was outdated, and there was visible mould inside the wardrobe. The bathroom also needs renovation, as the paint on the ceiling is peeling throughout.
