Convenience to M6. Pet friendly. Nice bar with lit fire making it cosy. Good value for lay over as included breakfast and also close to Lake District.
Room was very small. Toilet had macerator so very noisy when flushed. Charged for very small dog pet even though Booking. Com website states no charge under hotel policy so need to update this. Smoker in neighbouring room at night which wasn’t nice.

Good location for our overnight stop. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Room comfortable and spacious.
The chef failed to turn up for breakfast so only toast and cornflakes available, not a good start to the day!

I do not expect to eat breakfast with other peoples dogs. Also heard dogs snaking and barking early morning
