Great downtown location—Miroku Yokocho yatai village is a short walk away and genuinely worth the trip, one of the best evenings of our Tohoku leg. Room was small but functional and well soundproofed. Lawson on the ground floor is handy. Breakfast was decent with some good local specialties, and I enjoyed it despite the limited selection.
Breakfast room is small and the choice is fairly limited. Rooms are compact—standard for a Japanese business hotel, but worth knowing if you have big luggage. Note that you're about a 20-minute trip from the Shinkansen station, not next to it.

Clean and quiet.
Our mistake booking a business hotel for a family holiday. Fiddly check-in process. Outsourced parking.
