The owner, Muhammed, is so kind. He arranged the taxi from the airport for me & even walked in the middle of the night to pick up my friend after her journey got messed up had to take a late train from Marrakech. He also walked us to our excursion pick up location at 6am and waited to make sure we got there safely. He made us feel so safe and welcome! We stayed in the triple room and felt it was larger than expected but still looked just like the photos. Warm water, fluffy towels, and air conditioning. We were two women from the USA for reference & plan to recommend this riad to my friends. I also wanted to note that when comparing many booking.com reviews to Google reviews this was one of the few I could find that matched (nearly 5 stars on each). Many on Google reviews for other accommodations claim the host wrote the positive review on booking themselves, not the case for this one.

The riad is in old medina, easy access to all of historical places. The place and room was clean with typical Moroccan breakfast. The staff is really nice and helpful.

- the location was very strategic in the heart of Fes Medina - the aesthetic and the Riad itself was amazing - the breakfast was abundant. It was great and worth the money. - the room was large enough for us three with wide private bathroom.The bed was comfy and the AC was working well.

- the air in the room was smelly and little bit dusty. It seemed not really being cleaned before we checked in. We occupied the highest floor with low ceiling and the air circulation was not that great. Only 2 from 4 windows cpuld be opened. It was recommended just turned on the AC to keep the air circulation. We spent 3 nights there and our room was never being cleaned. The carpet was really dirty and need to be washed. - the stairs was so small and ceiling was low I was with my parents (elderly) and we were really exhausted to get into our room with all the luggages. We requested the lower floor but they said the only room for 3 person was on the highest floor (like 4th floor). It was not recommended if you are going with elderly people.
