Clean and nice rooms, very quiet location, good breakfast

Tour options provided by hotel were very expensive

The hotel is tucked a bit away from the city centre, which makes it a quiet oasis with a very nice patio, breathtaking mountain views and occasional hummingbirds flying about. The host was extremely helpful - I needed to get in touch with the title I was staying next in Cusco, and he was kind enough to call them and solve the issue. The room was spacious, very clean, big bed, brand new bathroom. Guest kitchen which might be handy for those who are staying for longer. We didn’t have time for a proper breakfast, but the coffee was absolutely delicious - we were definitely not expecting this! The host speaks good English.

Getting there with our luggage was a bit tricky? Because it’s an uphill walk without a functional pavement that gets absolutely chaotic when a train arrives. (We were told by the host there is a shortcut but it doesn’t appear on Google Maps). Other than that, everything was perfect.

The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was really nice, and the hotel felt like a nice, comfortable escape!

The toilet wasn't flushing properly in our room.

Clean, quiet hotel with a great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. They prepared a sandwich and fruit for our early departure to Machu Picchu, stored our luggage while we were away, and offered free water refills. The showers were good, and the beds were comfortable. Laundry costs 12 per kilo, which is somewhat expensive but convenient. This family-run hotel is located in a newer property, and the staff genuinely do their best to help.
