Beautiful rooms in a lovely building. Rooms were very clean and well equiped. Great place for an overnight stop. Recommend restaurant/pub Beim Seelenwirt on the way to Eisenberg for an evening meal.

A truly unique and beautiful property. Staying in this beautifully renovated, castle-like building was a wonderful experience. It is highly practical with a large garage, and the rooms are immaculate, very comfortable, and spacious for a solo guest. The genuine kindness and helpfulness of the staff made my stay even more memorable.
The only small suggestion I would have is to add a small refrigerator in the room, which would be great for keeping water cold

I picked the hotel for a stay for my visit to the Neuschwanstein Castle on the next day, trying to avoid the high prices in the town of Fuessen. It took about 20 minutes to get to the main parking lot at the castle. I was contacted ahead of check-in with instructions for getting my room key.
Room was small and felt overstuffed. Nobody was at the front desk at 3:45 pm. Breakfast was OK but without a lot of choices. Eggs were prepared on demand rather than offered at the buffet. I asked for a cup of coffee which I never received. I don't think there were a lot of guests staying besides me.
