The room was small but comfortable, the location was excellent, away from the noisier part of the sea front.

Would have preferred a less sweaty mattress protector. It crinkled like a hospital version

Staff were excellent

The location is excellent right on the water with great views and walking access to all the bars and restaurants. Staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing was ever a problem for them and they were always on hand with any help we asked for with planning days trips etc. The hotel was kept very clean.

Being an older hotel, I felt for the money we spent the bed linen quality, beds + towels could have been of better quality. The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, we could hear TV's on and conversations in adjacent rooms.

Location was excellent, staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.

The main issue we had with the hotel was the breakfast. First, choices were not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. The breakfast finished at 10, compared to 10:30 in other hotels nearby. The staff start clearing the food immediately, turning of the coffee machine at 10:15 and then even the water machine. When I enquired about it they responded that they have to clean the machines, and did not offer to provide us with water or coffee. The service of the staff in the restaurant was not of 4 star quality. The pillows in the room are extremely thin, the staff did provide a second one when we asked. The bathroom and shower are a little dated.
