Hotel Dom Carlos Park

This hotel is in a great location making it easy to get almost anywhere by metro. The breakfast was very good, with a great selection of food. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

My room overlooked the back courtyard where the air conditioning units were located, so the room got a bit noisy at times.

I arrived earlier than check in time which was not a problem, & I left my bags while I went out for the day - then when I got back later, they had already taken my bags to my room, which was a really unexpected & lovely action. It was located a little further out than I would have chosen for myself, but was part of a tour & I booked an extra night for convenience. Hotel is located only 5min walk from both the metro & bus stops. Public transport journey from the airport wasn’t super simple, but a Bolt journey was only €9 so would recommend this. I was staying under seperate bookings, but I was able to remain in the same room & not have to check out & back in again, so I appreciated that too.

Proximity being further out of the ‘main’ sights, but that’s just personal preference.

Tout était très bien, bon petit déjeuner varié, métro juste à côté. Le personnel garde les bagages si besoin après le départ. Je recommande

Good location in a pleasant neighborhood. Very close to a metro stop. Clean facilities.

Rooms are extremely small. The AC was working at a maximum and it was still hot inside the room. The facilities have been slightly upgraded but most things are still old and not working properly. Water pressure was extremely low.
