The location is great as it’s just on the edge of the town. You can walk into the edge to a beach and some great views, or drive 10 minutes the other way for a beach near Scot’s town.
Staff were great and friendly. We used the bar and restaurant and both we good.
It’s very dated, but is clean and tidy so that’s not an issue.
One of the main reasons we chose it was the swimming pool, but this was not included in the room cost and so we had to pay an extra charge for each of us.
A little bit of work would avoid it feeling so dated. Some updates to the pictures in the rooms, even cutting a roll of modern wallpaper and putting that into the frames, also update the light switches. Would really alter the feel.

The room was very clean, and the staff was nice.
The hotel is dated. The fire alarm went off 5 times during the evening/night, and there was a lot of noise throughout the evening apart from the fire alarm. There was no communication about the fire alarm or what was happening. Wasn't able to get any sleep.
