I was seeking a quiet getaway for one night from Tokyo. This inn was easy to reach (1 hour on Shinkansen) and was pure serenity. I had my own onsen, a western style bed, and a traditional Japanese experience with the dinner and breakfast. They also offer a shuttle pick up from the station in Minakami.
More outdoor sitting areas.
