Logement Petit Beijers

Large comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities. Extras like air-con and mini-bar weren’t used but for some add that finishing touch. The location is right in the heart of town. Breakfast was exceptional but charged separately. The staff were wonderful. Keyless entry is great but keep your phone charged.

It’s very central so some noise at night. Didn’t bother me but would if you are a light sleeper. I think you can request a room that doesn’t face the street and that might be better. If you want a central location then sometimes you have to put up with a little noise!

The bed was massive and so comfortable. Location by the canal in old town but on the right side of it for the station and more mainstream shops etc. Room was serviced.

The room was very dark but we didn’t plan on being in during day much anyway so didn’t matter

I enjoyed my time in Utrecht at Logement Petit Beijers, with the excellent central location being one of its biggest advantages. It was incredibly convenient for exploring Utrecht and getting around the city and going to the nearby TivoliVredenburg for a show. We had arranged an early check-in, which ended up being a little later than originally hoped due to the hotel being short-staffed. However, they handled the situation very graciously and offered us a complimentary cup of coffee and a baked good while we waited, which was a lovely gesture and showed that they genuinely cared about our experience. The room itself was very comfortable, with a rustic cottage character that suited the building and overall theme of the hotel beautifully. It was also well-lit and exceptionally clean, making it a very pleasant space to relax in.

The only thing worth mentioning is that the building itself is a heritage property, so there are naturally a few signs of age and the occasional area that could use a little touch-up. However, these were minor and didn't detract from the stay. Overall, the building is clearly well looked after, and I felt its historic character added more charm than inconvenience.

The staff prepared an excellent gluten free breakfast. The location is in the old part of town and very convenient to restaurants and sites. the staff is friendly and helpful.

The lodging is in a historic building which limits certain elements for accommodation,ie handrails on winder staircase and bathroom size.
