INA HOUSE Nijojo

Good place! Amenities are good (towels and bath especially) and the A/C is pretty neat. Love that you can get free coffee and water in the shared lounge area too. While not near a train station, there's decent bus connections within a 5 minuteish walk. Good selection of food in the area from homemade Japanese dishes to sushi to noodles and even Indian cuisine! My favorite restaurant near the hotel is Ono-Tei, which we found only because we were staying here!

Can hear other tenants easily through the walls.

New, has every thing, and relatively cheap. Good location with bakery, convenience store and good ramen.

Etablissement neuf, facile d'accès et près des bus. Les deux lits très confortables en 140. Le petit coin cuisine.

La machine à café manque très souvent de recharge. De la poussière sur le réfrigérateur et le four micro-ondes.

The property is in a quiet area and as such you can get a decent night's sleep at the accommodation. It's easy to walk into Kyoto's central area or catch a bus.

I stayed at the property in 2024 and it was easy to park as there were plentiful places. Sadly though, this year they have decided to build on 4 of the spaces that they had which now means you have to go to one of the local paid parking lots. The night I had to park there it was raining hard and I was trying to work out how to pay without knowing how thiose car parks work. The accommodation only say that they will reimburse you for the stay in a paid parking. They should explain how those parking facilities work. As a consequence, and wanting to be able to go out, I go soaked to the skin because they decided to add on extra accommodation which, i personally feel, is pure greed given how many apartments they already have. I will think very carefully before staying at this property again.
