Residence Poli Venezia

The size of the room was very nice as we had lots of luggage and still had room to move around. The bathroom size was large enough for two people to get ready. The kitchen had a coffee maker and a tea maker which was nice, also a fridge and a stove that we used twice. Would definitely rebook this accommodation!

There was a small issue with mosquitos in the room when we first arrived but I bought some spray from the COOP grocery store and sprayed any that I seen.

Good location in a quiet neighborhood. There is a grocery store right around the corner and the square has good restaurants. While it’s a walk to St. Mark’s square (about 20 minutes) this wasn’t an issue. The property is spacious and has a stove/fridge and basic cookware.

Spacious for a one bedroom apartment with the bonus of a communal courtyard to sit out in and very comfortable and well-equipped. The location was ideal - central but in a quiet side street. The hosts were friendly and helpful and when a minor plumbing problem arose it was quickly sorted. I would certainly book it again.

No significant criticisms at all. The apartment is quite dark but that’s the nature of these old properties.

Residence Poli Venezia, Venice Overall Rating: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location, comfortable accommodation and very responsive hosts We stayed at Residence Poli Venezia during our visit to Venice and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The location was undoubtedly the highlight of the accommodation. The apartment is ideally situated for exploring central Venice, with many of the main attractions within easy walking distance. The little square next to the apartment was particularly lovely and added to the charm of the location. There is also a fantastic bakery very close to the apartment and a supermarket even closer, both of which were extremely convenient during our stay. One of the unexpected highlights of our entire Venice trip was discovering a local outdoor tango class taking place in the nearby square on Tuesday evening. Watching local people of all ages practising and dancing together was a wonderful experience and gave us a real sense of the local community. It was a very special treat and something we will remember fondly from our time in Venice. The accommodation itself is a ground-floor studio apartment with a separate bathroom. We found it comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The bed was fine, the kitchen facilities were good, and the bathroom was perfectly adequate. One point worth mentioning is that the apartment has relatively limited natural light. Although there is access to a courtyard where you can sit outside, it receives very little direct sunshine. This also means that the studio itself can feel quite dark during the day. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it is worth being aware of when booking. Cleanliness was generally good, although the apartment was a little dusty in places. Nothing significant enough to detract from our overall experience. The facilities were good, including a well-equipped kitchen and a coffee machine with plenty of pods provided. The Wi-Fi worked well once connected.
