Absolutely beautiful, traditional Japanese home in an amazing location. The bath was lovely. We had everything we needed.
The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of space to unpack our suitcases or hang our bath towels and washing. Apart from that it was perfect.

Excellent location at the heart of Gion. Unique interior design with modern and traditional tatami rooms. Kitchen is well stocked. Living room and bathroom floor heated. Open air bath is nice but needs privacy curtain.
Need privacy curtain for open air bath since there is a hotel behind the house now. People who walk up and down the stairs can see the open air bath. No privacy.
Need a small table for the tatami room to put small items or hang clothes. Tatami room balcony glass door needs repair. It rattles when the wind blows.
