The location is great, a grand house much bigger than it looks from the roadside. Clean sheets and overall clean. Very basic continental breakfast (don’t expect Greek yoghurt or honey)
Friendly staff - Very kindly made me filter coffee to go
As is an honest description of no frills
The bedroom was small and furniture and fittings are very tired. Bed was small double and not comfortable. The bedside wall lights were so bright they are harsh- lower wattage bulbs would soften the room. The fridge was a nice touch but noisy and kept me awake. Squeaky floorboards. TV had no terrestrial channels & you have to log into own account for streaming (Netflix etc)
There are higher quality B&B/ Guest houses for the same or lower price locally
