The breakfast was buffet style, it was fine and well stocked but buffet never as good as freshly prepared.
Everything was very good, comfortable and lovely staff.

A lovely area, it felt quite rural yet was close to Edinburgh. The glamping pod was cute. It was well appointed with everything that you might need for your overnight stay.
It was not actually equipped for anyone expecting to self cater, as you might expect from the description. It was essentially a detached hotel room. OK for our purpose, but some people may be disappointed. The bed was cramped, one person has to sleep next to the wall.

The location was lovely. The mattress was comfortable.
On arrival you could tell there had been a wedding previously. Left over flowers and sparkles up the stairs .
The staff were pleasant but definitely pushed into several roles. One minute helping at breakfast and the next cleaning which from a hygiene perspective was worrying as no apron was used between the two. The warm breakfast had constant empty containers which just one poor girl was rushing to fill. Definitely under staffed and due to this impossible to keep up with warm drinks, eg cold tea in the pot, no mushrooms,no fried eggs .
