Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro

What a beautiful, modern, clean hotel to stay at! We really enjoyed our 1 night here.. We had 2 rooms, for our family of 2 adults, 1 child, but was very happy when we checked in to be told they had a connecting door, so we were able to have that unlocked and it meant we were kind of together and not separated! I think we were the only ones staying here - as the carpark was completely empty and we never seen or heard anyone else! The rooms were actually more roomy than what I expected and everything was like brand new! We had the breakfast box included and it was very yummy too. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, and will look for this brand in other locations in Japan on our next visit! The staff were super lovely too!

The mattress was so comfortable, the calm of the area, the curtains that can make the room very dark for long sleep, the staff, the little kitchen to eat on the go...

I would have spend two more night if the hotel had a wellness area (a little sport room, a japanese bath to relax)

Es gibt kein Restaurant im Haus, auch kein Frühstück ... Man kann aber nebenan im Dorfladen Einiges kaufen und man bekommt auch ein warmes Mittagessen
