The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming and caring. I stayed for one night for the Cardiff Half Marathon, and they kindly allowed me to leave all my belongings at the hostel and even take a shower after the race, despite having already checked out. I really appreciated their flexibility and thoughtfulness. They also prepared fresh fruit and coffee for all the runners on race morning, which was such a lovely touch. The common area is well equipped, with tea, coffee, juice and fresh fruit always available for guests. The hostel is located in an old building, but it is clean, comfortable and well maintained.

I stayed in a female large room, with a private bathroom. The room was ok, but unfortunately, the fact that the room was located directly above a pub made it quite noisy during the night. The manager was very kind and helpful and provided me with earplugs, but despite this, the noise from the pub downstairs was still quite disturbing and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This was particularly unfortunate for me as I had a race the following morning and really needed a good night’s sleep. I believe the other rooms, located further away from the pub, were probably much quieter. Overall, I had a very positive experience, especially thanks to the owners’ kindness and genuine care for their guests.

Good location to access city center. If tge can suggest a local parking site. That's rally good.

The place is extremely strange The price for today is 81 GBP per bed. The prices are changed all the time even after you paid. I was asked to pay an extra 17gbp at 7pm, though it was all paid in advance. The rooms are empty. I was alone in the 12 bedroom all the time. It would be nice to see some normal hostels in Cardiff, priced at 12-20 GBP. The situation with budget accommodation is drastic. Needs to be addressed. Please, do not reveal my name, there's something unusual about the whole thing 🥺💡🤞
