Residentas Arco do Bandeira

Location was ideal with beautiful views. We were fortunate being on the 4th Floor. The 2-bedroom property was comfortable, clean, spacious and designed beautifully keeping the historic features of the building while providing modern amenitites. Communication with the property management was excellent: quick and accommodating; great follow-up.

There was a slight damp, sewer smell upon entering the apartment, but that could be one of the factors of being in the center of the city. One of the ceiling lights in one of the bathrooms wasn't working.

The location was great as well as the communication with the managing staff. I loved the decor which I would describe as art deco meets modern meets antique, somehow it works beautifully.

The shower floor was extremely slippery and there weren’t any grab bars.

We liked everything about this property,. We especially enjoyed having an elevator to take our luggage even to the first floor and after a long day of walking Lisbon. The location was excellent however we found it difficult to navigate the actual room types online. So when we arrived, there were three sleeping spots, but not suitable for three senior ladies. The hotel looked after that the next day and we were happy with their response. Desk staff were here during the day and helped us a lot with everything we wanted to do. If you enjoy a very old building that has been kept up extremely well. You will definitely enjoy this hotel. Bring your best walking shoes when you come to Lisbon because it feels like everything is uphill.

We liked everything about this property. Thankfully, it was a weekend and the sex shop/peep show across the street was not active. The only thing we would suggest is better explanations of the sleeping accommodation in each room. Online we found it confusing to choose a room because they were all shown.

Beautiful, charming, and huge suites in an amazing classic mansion! The welcome basket was a very nice touch. The staff was incredible; responsive, friendly, and professional.
