Hotel Lestelle - self check-in

For Lucerne and this location it's excellent value for money! I had a roof apartment with exposed beams and it added to the charm of the place. It was also very clean and super well located. Everything felt like it was only a few minutes walk away.

The shower height adjustment is broken. It was ok and usable. Just seems such an obvious thing should be fixed. It was also quite hot so needed to sleep with the windows open, but there are no mosquito screens and, so of course they got into the room.

The location was great! Close to everything!

The room was very small and stuffy. No air conditioning and there was one very small desk fan that rattled and didn’t help with sleeping. We booked months in advance and our room was one that wasn’t shown in photos, and the window opened directly onto the building next door only 1 metre away, which made it dark and no natural light. Other rooms had views but not ours. The bathroom walls were painted dark brown and had water marks or mold coming through, and needs a good clean, however everything else in the bathroom and room were clean. There were 2 coffee cups but no water glasses in the room. I think it’s a great location but for us, the photos on the website were deceptive.

Arrivée vers 00h20 et code d'entrée ne fonctionne pas. J'ai dû finalement rallumer mon wifi (en attente de la facture) pour envoyer un mail et puis tel à l'hôtel. Le nouveau code ne fonctionnait toujours pas. Il a fallu 10 minutes pour y arriver. Dans la chambre, une bouilloire mais pas remplie et juste une disette de café.
