This is a really beautiful home with plenty of space, comfortable beds, lots of light and cool architecture. We were able to walk to Gion, the centre and some of the temples - and buses for other parts of Kyoto are close by.
The main bathroom with shower and bathtub is very pretty, but is starting to show mold in some places and there are not enough hooks for hanging towels.

L’emplacement centrale et l’accueil du staff. Un merci spécial au staff qui avait prévu un cadeau pour nos un an de mariage. Super attention!

The location was very quiet yet convenient for access to public transit and amenities. The property is beautifully decorated and finished - excellent shower and other bathroom facilities, great 'traditional' Japanese vibe, nice art, high quality throughout. Many thoughtful additions like flashlights, umbrellas. Communications with the host were excellent and very helpful.
The lack of audio privacy between the two bedrooms (but easily resolved with ear plugs!). Also, it would have been helpful to have closet space with hangers and drawers for clothes, as well as reading lights by the bed.
