Hotel da Elide

Only stayed for one night, but it was an enjoyable stay. As others have noted, you check in at the restaurant and then are directed to the door which leads to the staircase up to the hotel. We arrived before check in time and were just looking to store our luggage before we went up the hills, but as the room was available, the staff allowed us to go right away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The rooms have a mini fridge and toiletries (shampoo/ body wash dispensers) are provided. The one disadvantage is that there is no elevator. The hotel itself is only 2 floors but if you have a lot of luggage, you will have to carry it up the stairs. Great location, close to the Padua train station. There's a McDonald's 5 min walk away, as well as a self-service laundry.

Great place to stay in, near the station, great staff, newly renovated rooms, parking cross the street for free. The only thing missing is an elevator if you have a lot of luggage. Loved the experience.

Really cute hotel above a restaurant. Make sure you check in at the restaurant as there is not lobby. Check in and out is at the restaurant. The hotel is modern but really nice inside. Breakfast was small but fine. The staff is nice. Location is great and close to the train station and main sights. To get to Assisi you walk to the train station and catch a bus. Make sure to get bus tickets at the kiosk across from the train station.
