Piazza Pitti Palace - Residenza d'Epoca

An amazing property directly across from the Pitti Palace; Always love when the actual rooms are even more beautiful and spacious than the booking photos suggest. Our room featured individually controlled mini-split A/C units, which is great as my spouse prefers it warmer than do I. The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful. We had breakfast on site just once, but it was an incredible feast! I wish I had been able to consume even 15% of what was offered. I was glad for the quieter Oltarano (sp?) location as we have been to Florence several times now, and it was good to be away from the throngs of tourists in the Centro. That said, all of those sites are within an easy walk of the property. If you are arriving by train with much luggage, it is easier to get a taxi than to drag multiple bags over cobblestones.

A very small detail - upon arrival, it was not clear to me that the reception is on the 2nd floor - it may have been advised in one of our texts, but I missed it. Luckily, we were able to contact them by phone and easily clarified where to go.

Location prefect for sightseeing

It’s a beautiful, amazingly detailed hotel to stay at. Part of the reason why Florence was our favorite spot was our hotel stay. We felt like Kings and Queens. Super spacious and breakfast had such a variety to choose from and the presentation was impressive. The location was great. It was quiet and not a far walk to the center of town. Loved the convenience of the spritz window right outside the hotel entrance too! Best spot for honeymooners especially

I have nothing bad to say for our hotel experience here.

Stunning location and room.

Nothing. Loved it.
