Casa Of Essence

AC was excellent, shower was good size! Only issue was the blankets for the sofa bed!! Great location!!!

It was a great budget friendly stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful. There was three of us in a room and the doors opened out to the view of old San Juan. The room was clean had air-conditioning and the only thing that sucks. Is that the last few days of our trip we were without water, although we had to buy a lot of water. The staff would bring some buckets when they could.

What a wonderful experience!! Casa of Essence is exactly as pictured, with beautiful and artfully adorned common spaces that include a patio with cheerful birds who completed the authentic ambiance of Old San Juan:) The room was larger than the pictures suggested, which was a welcome surprise. The hosts Crystal and Mildred were extremely attentive and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and we were given extra clean towels during the stay. The kitchenette was well stocked, as was the bathroom (including soaps and hair dryer). The AC mini split was new and had remote control, and the dehumidifier also kept the room very comfortable. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, as it is truly a gem of beauty and unique care in an absolutely perfect location right next to Plaza Colon. Thank you Crystal and Mildred!
