The Location is great if you want to be in the center of the Old Town San Juan area. The hotel is located above a retail shop. There is no reception desk or lobby area. The staff was nice to store my luggage. I wish there was an opportunity to check in early but there wasn't. My light landed in San Juan at 5am... I had to wait 5 hours at the airport because the retail shop didn't open until. 10am. The staff was nice. The cleaning staff was also nice. The room was cold (which wasn't a problem) since it was sooo humid. I didn't like that I couldn't control the temperature. There are great deal of restaurant and shops and measure within walking distance. The beach was 10 min drive (or 1 hour walking distance). I didn't have a problem with that. Most San Jaun walking tours meeting place was within 4 min walking distance from the hotel. My room was toward the street. lots of light, but the downfall is that it's a busy street where people like to blow their horn. The windows/ doors need to be replaced with double or triple pane so it can block out the sound. Pros: Location, Price, AC, Cons: Noisy (depending on room location), no early check-in, dated room and tv.

Loved my stay. Room service was above and beyond.

Very central location. Room had everything we needed for our stay.

Great stay, close to all the happenings of the town. Small room but very clean, great AC.
