Belle Athenes - Luxury Rooms at Monastiraki Railway Station

We needed a simple hotel just to catch our plane the next morning. This cute hotel was very modern and comfortable. It was a great place to spend our last night in a great location so close to Monastiraki subway. Quick trip to the airport. A very relaxing place with great breakfast in the cafe next door.

We didn’t have a great view, however we knew this would be the case and it wasn’t important to us for just one night.

La proximité des lieux à visiter et la propreté de l’établissement. Excellent petit déjeuner.

We loved this hotel, the location, the room, and the staff. Alex checked us in and provided us with such a wonderful warm welcome, he is such an asset to this hotel. The cleaners were also lovely and did a great job each day. Our room on the third floor was modern, a good size, big bathroom, and had lovely balcony that you could sit out on. This also provided a nice breeze with the doors open. The room had everything we needed, tea and coffee facilities with a jug and coffee pod machine, water in the fridge etc Wifi worked well. The location is great, walking distance to the train (4 mins), so many restaurants, cafes and shops. We had an easy walk (15 mins) to the Acropolis to start our tour at 7.45am (book the early tour!) Breakfast at the cafe next door was fabulous! It was far more than we expected with a choice of 12 different breakfast options to start your day - very delicious food and coffee! We have been travelling for 6 weeks so far and this hotel has been an absolute stand out!

We loved everything about this hotel and highly recommend it!

Athena at the front desk was truly amazing. Organising cabs and helping with planning. She is a gem and asset to the business. Well done to her for her commitment to customer service.

The property was difficult to get a cab to as cab drivers don’t like the location due to the amount of traffic in the area. The tap In the kitchen was loose and needed fixing. It is noisy from street noise. Which is vibrant but can be disturbing. The sky lights in ceiling have no blinds therefore the light wakes you early.
